The Evatic integration allows you to connect your 3manager environment directly with Evatic, ensuring device and meter data is automatically synchronised.
This saves time, reduces manual work, and ensures your Evatic processes are always up to date.
Summary
Evatic is a flexible service management system widely used in the Managed Print Service industry. The integration with 3manager makes it possible to combine detailed device data and meter readings from 3manager with your existing Evatic processes.
This ensures you can keep working in Evatic while still benefiting from automated analytics and insights from 3manager.
How it works
The Evatic integration allows device information and meter readings to flow from 3manager into your Evatic environment. Once configured, synchronization happens automatically every 12 hours. You can also trigger a manual sync if needed.
Enabling the integration
You can configure the integration either on vendor level or on account level. If several accounts use the same Evatic endpoint, user, and password, it is recommended to configure it once at vendor level. If each account requires unique credentials, configure the integration per account.
- To set it up, go to settings in 3manager, select integrations, and click on Evatic.
- Click configure and then turn the integration on.
- From your Evatic system retrieve the required endpoint, username, and password, and enter them into the fields in 3manager.
- Next, decide which devices should be synchronized. You can use the filter to select only managed devices, only certain brands, or all monitored devices.
- By default, the data sync runs twice per day. You can adjust the start time to match your local timezone. Check the “Local time” reference to ensure the schedule aligns correctly with your environment.
- Once you have chosen, confirm the filter and you will see a count of the devices mapped.
- Click test and save to verify the connection.
Verifying synchronization
- In the integration view you will see a log showing the synchronization results. Devices are sent in batches of 50.
- Green entries mean the synchronization was successful. Red entries mean it did not succeed, and the system will try again later.
- Clicking on a log entry will expand the details of which devices were included.
Please note that the logs are changed to just show success or not because of heavy data load.
Data sent to Evatic
The following information is shared from 3manager to Evatic.
- Device information such as mac address, serial number, IP address, last active day, model name, and device ID.
- Meter readings including total black and white, total colour, print counters, copy counters, scan counters, fax counters, duplex, A3 and A5 counters, and total impressions.
- Supplies information including consumable type, consumable name, colourant type, and current level.
Things to note
- The synchronization runs every 12 hours starting at 00:00 UTC.
- You can also click sync now to run it immediately.
- Only devices included in the filter will be synchronized.
